I lived in Northern California for a short period of my life—by short I mean about half a decade, but there are so many fond memories. Between surfing the hook in Santa Cruz, wine tasting in Napa Valley, and camping in Big Sur, you really can’t ask for more, but Northern California delivers more. Surreal camping, stellar surfing, and the best wine in the world (sorry France) would be plenty, but the long coastal drives along Highway 1, booming metropolises such as Silicon Valley (and the nearby areas: Menlo Park, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, San Jose, Palo Alto, and Mountain View), and the internationally acclaimed style and passion of San Francisco make Northern California one of the greatest and most diverse places in the world. If you’re new to hammock camping, you’ll find that this is another great method of camping.
While living in Northern California, above all else, I learned that appreciative people give gifts. At that, I learned how to give great gifts. From the businessmen in the industrious Silicon Valley, the most prevalent tip is this: for executive gifts, try to be personal yet retain business professionalism. An excellent gift idea for such an occasion is a personalized executive gift. Something such as a Multi-Function Desk Organizer or a personalized clock is just right. Further from the wine folk in Napa, Saratoga, and Sonoma, the consensus is that a great gift involves an activity. A perfect gift as such would be a wine or beer accessory, with which you and the recipient can sit and enjoy some time together. Lastly, from just about everyone, the typical perspective is that giving gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, christenings, baptisms, and the like is super important and can also be a fun experience.
Have fun, and enjoy the rewarding act of giving gifts.
Sincerely,
Joseph Dermin
