Comments: We purchased this platter for our parents in 2019 for $150 and they loved it. It was worth every penny. I didn't tell them about the first plate we purchased from a different company which was such poor quality that we were embarrassed to give it to them...luckily this arrived fast enough to take the place of the other vendor's disappointment. I see that this platter is being offered for $250 now. I can't say I'm surprised the price has gone up so much with inflation being what it is. It would be a tougher decision in 2021 but still probably worth the money.

Comments: The kerning of the letters in the engraving was not checked. There is no print preview so you cannot see how the engraving will turn out. Unfortunately, the spacing on mine, while technically one space, looked off because of the font choice...which again, because there is no print preview option you cannot see how certain letters look next to each other and if an extra space is needed. I feel for $200 that the engraver should check and really ensure it looks perfect. Also, the gold filling in the engraving was uneven. Certain letters looked like it was rubbing off already. I would NOT recommend for the price. If it was under $100, then fine, I would expect this quality. But for Lennox and $200, it should look WAY better.

Comments: Recently we attended 50 year anniversary of our friends parents and we decided to customize the Oval Platter for them. The Oval Platter looks timeless. The writing on the plate is not just printed but etched and then filled with gold lettering. The customer service is excellent. I was able the chat with the person online is she was very pleasant and very helpful. They can print a bit longer message than 120 chars - but not too long. Just ask the customer service rep. They also rushed the order for a fee for me and I was able to get on time. The platter arrived in the original Lenox box - of light yellow color and well blending lettering. I believe for extra fee they can do the gift wrap. With some creative packing on our end we were able to turn it to masterpiece that everybody loved and adored. I strongly believe that customization of any gifts shows the level of attention that you want to give. Personal customization and elegance of the Oval Platter will give you the edge...
