When presented with the gold 50th anniversary plate, both were absolutely brought to tears. And he was so touched that he couldn't bring himself to read the inspirational message that was so beautifully etched onto the plate. There were actually quite a few other family members that were brought to tears during the event as well. All I can say is that things couldn't have turned out better. We opted to use a different inspirational message than the one offered, which worked out better than we could have anticipated. If you would like to give it consideration for your plate, it goes like this: Golden anniversaries are milestones where you pause and look back at life, to cherish all the beautiful memories as a husband and a wife. That's four lines when you break it down. But use the comma and period only where you see them. Guaranteed it will look awesome and create a terrific effect when presented. Comments: I was looking for a Golden Anniversary present for people who "have everything" when I came across this plate with such a beautiful saying. I ordered it and had it shipped directly to the celebrants. They loved it and were touched. I was able to see it in their home, and the quality was very impressive. Comments: I purchased the 50th Anniversary Gold Plate for my cousin and her husband. I could not feature in my mind exactly how nice the plate would be until I received my order. My wife and I were floored when we inspected the plate. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of art. The glass etching is computer created and is "perfect" - not one flaw anywhere in the etching. Simply beautiful. When ordering, I asked that they use and send me the best quality plate they could come up with avoiding bubbles in the glass if possible. 50th anniversaries only come once in a lifetime. So, it was important to me that this particular gift be as nice as humanly possible. The folks at Memorable Gifts went above and beyond my expectations. I knew that it would likely be impossible to avoid glass bubbles altogether. But, I only found two very teenie-weenie bubbles that were located on the outer rim of the plate - barely noticeable upon very close inspection. There were no bubbles whatsoever in the main portion of the plate where the etching appears. And I am also happy to report that the plate itself is fairly thick and the "shadows" of the etched letters on the surface stand out very well on the gold background found deeper in the plate lending another dimensional appearance that is simply stunning to look at. As well, I asked them to carefully pack the gift to prevent damage during the shipping and handling. Again, they went beyond my expectations and "double-boxed" the plate before shipping it to me. They also use a sufficient amount of packing peanuts to secure the gift inside, which I was very pleased with. Since I only had 5 weeks until the event, I opted to use the 8-10 business day shipping option (FedEx) just in case we needed to rectify any sort of situation that may or may not arise. It costs just a few dollars more, but served as inexpensive extra insurance against unknown calamities. However, I am very happy to say that there were absolutely no problems with my order that needed additional attention. The order arrived undamaged and "on time" as expected. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with Memorable Gifts and the service we experienced. And I know my cousin and her husband will simply love this piece when we present it to them. We very highly recommend this company if you are looking for a memorable gift that will be cherished for a lifetime. Very well worth the cost and very well done - Thank you.
